I’m a single mother and I work part time. I have a 2 and 5 year old.
We split last October and our eldest started having sleepovers in January, 1 night a week. Our 2 year old started having sleepovers on his own in April and then they started joint sleepovers a few weeks after that.
He’s trying his first weekend at the moment. We have agreed the 3rd weekend of the month for both to stay with him at the same time and then both have individual sleepovers one night during the week.
We’re aiming to move to every other weekend in autumn if it goes well.
My ex complained about having them for a whole weekend and said I’d being unreasonable as he only has a 1 bed flat.
Is there scope for discussing this with a mediator?
