Easy ways to give

I have donated to Gingerbread and I wanted to send you a message to say thank you for all of the work that you do. It is great to know there are people working hard to help support single parent families.

Giving in a way that suits you best

We know people lead busy lives. If you don’t have a lot of spare time for fundraising, we’ve come up with some quick and convenient ways to give which will fit around your schedule. You can choose to give regularly or just once – it’s up to you. But however you choose to donate to Gingerbread, it all goes towards helping single parent families thrive.

Give a regular gift by direct debit

A regular gift from you will help single-parent families face the future with confidence. At a time when rising costs are pushing many into debt, our helpline, information services and support groups are available all year round so that single parents need never feel alone. Help us keep these vital services running with a monthly gift of any amount that suits your budget.

Give by payroll giving

Payroll giving is an easy, tax-effective way of making a regular donation to Gingerbread directly from your salary. As the donation comes straight from your pre-tax earnings, the government will top up your donation at no cost to you.

Your finance or human resources department can tell you if a scheme is already in place. If there is, they can tell you the simple steps for setting up a give as you earn donation to Gingerbread. Some employers generously match donations – check if yours does!

If there is no scheme at your workplace, you can contact us to request a Gingerbread payroll giving form, fill it in and hand it to your HR department. Please scan and copy this signed form to send to us too. You can support more than one charity and you can also choose to give anonymously if you prefer – ask your employer for more details. We also have information for employers who would like to know more about other ways to support Gingerbread.
