I’m going through a very similar situation to you right now. My partner of 6 years told me that if I don’t have an abortion he’s going to leave me. After I said an abortion wasn’t going to happen he started accusing me of ‘trapping’ him. I honestly can’t understand where this thought came from since he knew I wasn’t on contraception since we were waiting for the doctors to get back to me about having a coil fitted.
I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant and he’s gone back to london to live with his parents. Luckily we lived with my parents since we were saving to buy a house and im still in university (I went back to education after working for a few years) so im in a safe and secure place with a fantastic support network who will support me as I go through this on my own.
I can only sympathise and tell you how great of a job you’re going to do because you’re so strong. You can do this! It’s a small bump in the grand scheme of things and you’re going to ride it out like a pro! You can do this!
