    Hi there

Thank you so much for your reply, it really is appreciated.

I think the final lines sums it all up perfectly and I couldn’t agree more.  I was so hopeful at the start of all this that someone would listen to all the facts and make a fair judgement based on them but realise now that isn’t the case and it’s just a process to go through from a legal perspective.  To that end I really shouldn’t be viewing this situation as anything other than a continuation of the same just with a different title attached to it so thank you!

    Hi there

If you can’t afford legal representation you may well be entitled to Legal Aid to get representation that way.  They take in to account incoming money and outgoings including any childcare costs or debts you are repaying and you may be able to be represented for free.  I’d look in to this as a matter of urgency.  You can contact a lawyer and ask for them to represent you pending any legal aid application coming through which might help initially even if you were denied legal aid.  Then if you do get it you have that point of contact.  It’s worth bearing in mind that lawyers working for legal aid clients get paid slightly differently form those who are paid by the person contracting them so if you have legal aid you lawyer may only get paid for court appearances and representing you in court and may not therefore be so good at responding to emails or phone calls so it’s worth asking this question before you take a lawyer on.  Good luck, it’s a rocky process but hopefully you get the right result in the end.
