Morning, thank you so much for your responses. I have done some checking my side and I also thought it was 28 days, but there is no court order. I would always travel with her birth certificate if asked any questions so I would be able to produce the document. I’m keen to book flights to secure a decent fare (if that’s at all possible in the current climate) but I could just do without the added threat hanging over my head for the coming months.
I’ll have another conversation with him, explaining that I would rather have his consent than the bad feeling and dealing with any legal entanglements.
