Hello!, I’m 19 and pregnant also, 30weeks. I haven’t had any financial support off of my family and the babies dad has just made this pregnancy absolute hell for me, so it hasn’t been enjoyable, but I must say, at first I thought how can I do this? But now I couldn’t imagine it any other way, I have a baby boy on the way and I couldn’t imagine not being pregnant now. It’s been hard I have to be honest, but it’s all so worth it. You can apply for universal credit, on this you can also apply for a healthy start card which is £17 a month and you can get babies milk/nappies etc off of this, when you’re 29weeks pregnant you can apply for the £500 maternity grant also which would help you towards a travel system and getting babies last bits etc!
