I am in a very similar situation. I am fortunate to earn a similar salary to part time and have just found out I am not entitled to any financial help whatsoever. It’s so frustrating as I can pay for everything other than nursery fees.
I must highlight that the benefit calculator does not give you a true reflection of what you are entitled to. You will only know what you are actually entitled too once you make your claim as there are deductions.
I have no idea what I am going to do. I am now in a position where I have no option but to quit my job and claim full benefits. 😢
