1. Hi, I hope you’re doing OK. When I left my daughter’s dad we had a mortgage on a house. He stayed in the house and bought me out. I used that money as a deposit to buy another house for me and my daughter. I initially contacted DWP and found I was entitled to Universal Credit and saw a mortgage broker to secure a mortgage on the house I wanted to buy. I hope that helps.
