I agree, find a Gingerbread Group, they are v supportive.  I am in South Wales and used to run one until I found work. All the best to you.

Hello.  I have two children too , 13& 16,  have raised them since 2012 when mother left.  I think that having raised them for so long, that you can Not be a failure. You are a hero.  Try to enjoy nature a little , this tends to help with the depression. In your situation of temp accommodation I am sure you are anxious. It is horrible to experience such insecurity. Life takes a lot to sort out I know, and it is possible to succeed because looking back, you have succeeded!  Why the home schooling I wonder?  I considered it myself because of the discrimination I had to put up with.  However,  they bene fitted from a reasonable Juniors and secondary in the end.  Social interaction for them can be achieved through clubs like Guides/scouts and sometimes the library is a good place to start.  Anyway, enough of my ramble. I wish you all the best. Remember you are a hero!

Just wondering who has set the ‘buyout’ figure?

I assume you have used legal means and considered a Legal Mediator for other issues arising such as access to your children.

Have you tried reporting this online via the Government Gateway?

This is astonishing behavior. As a male, words fail me.

The situation is NOT your fault. You may find Gingerbread ‘phone line helpful as are Young Minds and other sites.

Actually, the post was NOT about pros and cons of retirement.

If the man is married to the mother, he also has parental responsibility.  It is important to consult Social Services and when divorced to obtain a Court Order. Make copious notes of any contact .

The child’s welfare is top priority for the Court.

You may find a professional Mediator is your best bet.  Perhaps divorce should be thought about too.

Sorry. I think the injuries need a closer look by Court Social Workers.
