As has already been said, well done for getting through Christmas. This is a big achievement. I’m 9 months in and can share it’s been hard
It resonated with me your point about your ex now doing the things that you always wanted. It’s the same with my ex (kids mum) and it’s so frustrating and upsetting.
For me the change in routines that surround Holidays sets me back as gives time to reflect and more time on my own. However I do know that it soon gets back to normal as life returns to the everyday
The point around time is valid and it does get easier.
And as has already said, do what you need to do to get through it
