    Hello Pebbles!

Yes exactly the same as my thoughts! I would ideally like her to be at least a year older!

I have told UC I’d be prepared to work in a school but I’ll let them know I’d like to work from home if possible.  Thank you for your insight and for being understanding!

Let’s hope I find something that works for me and my girl xxx

    Hello Yaz 🙂

I have absolutely no concerns about my daughters social skills as she has a wonderful social life and friends.

I am so happy that your situation proved successful for you and your daughter.

I wish to reiterate that I don’t fall under the not wanting to work category. Maybe I’m old fashioned and think she’s too young to be left all the time.  School age is young enough. But like I said that’s fabulous it worked for you!

I totally understand you when you said you love working! I did too and I’m sure I will in the future. Thankfully my previous career allowed me to buy me and my daughter a home outright which I’m so so grateful for as it’s another financial worry off my shoulders.

Also I just wanted to add that the woman on the phone calling from the job centre told me that I need to send her to nursery in January so she can get used to be being separated from me. I just found it so insensitive and harsh. I’m just so genuinely worried as to how i’ll cope.

I know I’ll get some free childcare when she is 3 but I’m scared at the thought of what I’ll do during the school holidays when this childcare isn’t funded. I literally don’t have any support network and I’m just so so so very worried about all of this.
