I have the same problems, right now she is refusing to stay and talking to me. She is 12 has so much freedom for her age.  it’s kills me inside.

I need your opinion, for 12 years old what time they should be home after school?

She just hang around in town with some of her school friend, I just don’t want her to hang around with wrong people.

Hi Steve,

That’s what I thought it’s late for 12 years old. However her mum think it’s ok that she is home around that time.

I assume so as we never get any notification from school that she is behind or not doing any homework. Every time I ask her she said she has no homework?

I can’t say anything as it will end up with disagreement and argument. I just don’t want to have an argument in front the children.so I just accepted.

To be honest it’s really break my heart.

Hi Ishtar, thank you for your input. My daughter are staying with  2 night a week. Yes my ex is very relax with the rules ect, for instance she is ok that my daughter come home late after school (7pm) I am disagree with that.

 I know it’s very difficult time.
