    Hi

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am aware of the DWP announcement; which is why I am looking for some knowledge and experience around this new reform.

I have read it several times now but what I am interested in is how this is unfolding at the jobcentres and how much flexibility is granted to build up to these 30 hrs.

I actually tried to reply to the previous poster but it seems the website isn’t allowing replying to other replies within a post.
I am also aware of the childcare help and the upcoming reforms  some of which have already been put in place. Thank you very much anyway.

    Hi

it depends on the age if your youngest.

if they are 3-5; currently you are required to work 16 hrs x NLW per week 52 weeks per year.

if 5-12, it is 25. After 12 it is 35.

this can be found on the government website.

The changes – if any- haven’t yet been officially announced nor the requirements if the changes take place. Expect it will be clearer from next week or after the new financial year.
