I have no advice, but I’m in the same situation. I’ve asked 3 times for a separation and he has refused all 3 times. He promises things will get better – but they don’t.
I am also financially dependent on him, and of course want to do what’s best for the kids, and the refusals make me second guess my decision.
I just wanted you to know that you’re not alone really.
I think what’s keeping me going is that I’m taking this time to try and build my confidence and sorting the house out in preparation to hopefully get things moving more easily when I do get the separation I want.
