North West Support

Our North West services aim to meet the challenges faced by single parents in the region.

Learning and skills

We offer a range of different support options which are dependent on where you’re based in the North West.

Our training programmes support unemployed single parents, while employment training can be helpful if you want to get back into work and develop practical skills such as CV writing. Personal skills training can be helpful if you’ve been out of work for some time or want to build your confidence.

We also provide self-employment training tailored to the needs of single parents in the North West to help you understand if self-employment may be suitable for you.

Please get in touch with our North West Office to find out which of these opportunities are available in your local area.

We currently have 15 Gingerbread groups in the North West region, which provide opportunities for single parents to share their experiences and support each other. You can find your nearest group here.
