We’re Gingerbread, dedicated to supporting single parent families and their children to thrive. We were set up in 1918 to support mothers widowed during WWI. We’ve gone on to help abolish workhouses, ensure children born outside of marriage have the same rights as those born within and secure commitments from over 100 MPs in the last parliament to challenge single parent stigma. 

Despite our successes, single parent families in your area still face big challenges. The 2 million single parents in the UK struggle daily with financial, emotional, and social pressures.
