Gingerbread to recruit interim CEO in new year

Posted 16 December 2024

Gingerbread is seeking an interim CEO, following the departure of Victoria Benson at the start of December. Victoria joined Gingerbread as CEO in 2019 and has shown huge dedication and hard work to improve the lives of single parent families over the last 5 years.

Chair of Trustees, Sarah Pinch:

"It is a huge honour to be the Chair at Gingerbread and I am delighted to have been joined by Phil Deans as the new Vice-Chair, as we strengthen the governance and leadership of the charity."

"The senior management team are working closely with trustees to recruit an interim CEO by mid-January before we start the process of looking for a permanent CEO to lead the charity into its next period of growth."

"I know from my own lived experience how important Gingerbread is for single-parent families and I am delighted to be leading such a dedicated staff team, who are committed to supporting all single parents who do an incredible job, raising their children single-handedly. Gingerbread will always offer a listening ear and helping hand to any single parent who needs it."
