Hi, Manaduck. I’ve had similar experience with my soon to be ex too. I suffered anxiety and scored as being depressed when I went through the questions. Although it doesn’t seem like it now, honestly I believe you will move forward and you will start to feel stronger. It’s like a rehabilitation process for me. As you know, you deserved none of this, and if anything that partner of yours should take a good long look in the mirror. I don’t know him, and who knows what he might be going through, BUT if you want to end a relationship there’s ways of going about this. Integrity seems to be lacking to say the least. I pitied my ex a lot and put myself through so much for nearly two decades to ‘save’ him. We need to protext ourselves first – especially as we have children to raise. In time, you’ll see more clearly how you are worth a lot more and how the things you were put through were well out of order. Big hug from me. You sound like a lovely person. A lot of us think we could do lot better with our kids. But what matters first is our hearts. You seem like a good person who cares a lot for others. Dont be too hard on yourself. You can only try your best and especially at a time like this, we could do with some help. I’m glad your mum’s there for you. It’s times like these you see who the good guys really are. Stay strong and wish you all the best xx
