Hi there, just had to send a quick reply. Im 19 years in now, ive brought my son up solely since he was born, his thing was never ever interested, we were in a relationship for 4 years where he was in & out of prison & he was also physically & mentally abusive, it took me a long time to get over all of this. My point is you will learn to live with it, it pops into my head now & again, but HE is the one who has missed out on all the landmarks & celebrations, fun & love, which we have had in abundance. I would say think of your son in all of this, focus on him & you, its hard but you will get through it all.
