Hang in there, I know its not easy, as Ishtar says your Daughter needs you, she’s still so young. I just take one day at a time.

I can only speak for myself, for the separation then yes for me over time, it wasn’t easy but I have come to deal with it, but it still effects both our children.

As for bringing up 2 children on your own, I find it a constant battle!

Everyone’s circumstances are different and for me I have had the added concern’s with the kids regarding medical conditions, mental health & ASD  and trying to hold down a full time job, so it hasn’t been plain sailing.

We have good days & bad days like any other family.

Hi Jaywsm,

I’m new to this and read your post,  I have the same kind of problems regarding social anxieties/feeling awkward and feel like a mirror image with your daily routine.

I’m a single dad with 2 kids and my relationship ended after 13 years.

I just try to take one day at a time, some are hard, some are really sh*t, but its worth putting up with them because you can also get sunny days.
