Hi, if you die unexpectedly your death would be referred to the Coroner. If a passport or ID documents are available they will contact the embassy for your birth country who will make every attempt to locate and inform your family. If you make sure there are contact details for your family, the Coroner’s office would make contact with them directly or through the embassy. Interpreters would also be areanged if necessary. As for the care of your child, as someone else has said, I believe you would have to have a legal document/will specifying a guardian(s) for your child.
