Just wanted to pop a message to say hi. I’m in a similar boat to you. My ex told me she wanted a divorce on 1st October so all very new here too. We have a 6 year old together. Feels very overwhelming at times, I struggle to work out what my priority should be at any given time… finding a new job (I work/worked for her business), looks like I will have to sell the family home (solicitor said this morning), looking after my little one pretty much on my own, taking care of my own mental health, sorting solicitors, sorting a therapist/counsellor maybe… I know it gets easier but definitely quite overwhelming at times at the moment.
