I don’t work at the moment but hoping to be able to get back to part time work at 6 months then go from there.
Her father has no involvement and doesn’t want to, so regarding childcare I have very few people to turn to and I don’t believe childcare is supported by the government until she’s older.

I agree with the general positive involvement of social services but I think it’s really tough at the moment to feel comfortable or settled and that’s just added to it. And it doesn’t really help with my confidence as a mum – I think it’s just demoralising and added stress with yet more eyes and questions.

I think I’ll have to do all I can to get him to pay his fair share – knowing he’s out every week end splashing cash and spending thousands to go on shoots and trips while I struggle to provide for my girl would drive me insane and hopefully his desire for me to keep his paternity s secret from everyone will encourage him to do the bare minimum.
another question and sorry if it’s too personal you really don’t have to answer but how do you approach any questions about your sons biological father ? I’m really keen to only say positive things to my daughter about her dad as I don’t want her to have bad feelings towards someone who she is essentially half of.

I could not face losing her – what do you think I should do regarding the financial side of things ? Should I go down the legal route if he refused to pay maintenance?
I initially didn’t want to but I realised how much money it would be and it would make so much difference. If in 7 years time for example, I can’t afford a school trip or something I’d feel awful knowing I didn’t fight for the financial support.
