You are not alone as a single parent… my boy at 4 yrs old has just started sleeping for a few hours in his new big boy bed (he picked) then comes in with me.. think tiredness from school days have something to do with it…it’s took me this long ! I understand the sleep deprivation and frustration. I always would just lay with him until he fell asleep and would wake up as soon as I move so I would have no down time…he still wakes as soon as I do in the morning as his brain doesn’t switch off.
