I’m hoping you’ll make connections with people in your new career sounds hard af of a situation. Stay strong for your kids I think it will get easier as they start doing their own thing.

If there’s any real single dads out there…I thought there was a few but it turns out it’s 90% the grandparents when you get into it ๐Ÿ˜‚ I’ve been told ohh yeah I’m a single dad too… 5 mins later you realise they don’t even live together most of the week. Like the ‘best dads in the world’ because they have their kids ‘every weekend’ jeez.

It’s very lonely in that I’m 34 totally finished with ever any kind of romantic relationship (because of a horrible experience) and I have nothing in common with anyone, been on my own totally since she was a little baby, we have a great time together she’s amazing. I’m shunned by the mums at the school gate and ballet. ๐Ÿ˜‚ It’s a weird totally isolating situation but I’m loving it too, I love homemaking, cooking, parenting, but I’m also a Bricklayer which is full of well totally the opposite. I wish I was gay, it would be easier socially I think I’d be more understandable/accepted and wish I had of chosen a different career too ๐Ÿ˜‚ Oh well I’m incredibly lucky and thank God everyday I have a happy, healthy amazing daughter.
