We have moved a lot because of personal situations so my children have struggled to settle in. Particularly my daughter has found it hard to make friends. We are new to the area and it can be very hard to make friends.

My children have been angry and emotional after we left their father who was abusive. It’s really hard to stay strong. Their are some many feelings it’s hard for a child to overcome or understand.

Hi

I am a single mum in Taunton. This is my first post too. I have two children a boy 7 and a girl 6. I had a very difficult relationship with their father. My confidence has taken a lot of hits .

My children are a lot happier now and we are all trying to move forward. We have moved to a new area and got a flat of own which I have done my best to make home.
I have become isolated and want to connect with people. I don’t think I’m ready for a relationship just yet. Maybe in time if the right person comes along.
