    Seb…It’s refreshing to hear there’s dads out there that actually WANT to spend time with their children.
    I really hope you can work things out, I don’t think it comes down to stability, as long as the children know what’s happening , I guess their age doesn’t help at the mo with understanding but they will understand the love and nurture they get from you.it’s about spending time with you, and their mum and feeling wanted by both and loved.

    Hi. I totally relate to this! I’ve been asking for weeks for my sons father to sort out holiday dates- he gives me dates a month in advance and basically I have to agree to them!
    he still hasn’t done summer holidays, we both work shifts but he expects any childcare to be my responsibility, he has him less than 30% of the time and really only when I’m working.
    the last few half terms I have had to take off the majority of the days. The current week off he has him for just one day.

    im trying to avoid making things official but he can be so controlling and I have no family support but he has his mum, dad and sister very close by.
