Thank yous both very much for commenting! @peachy I’m sorry to hear how difficult it has been for you, glad you stood your ground and got things sorted its definitely made me re-think and to do the same now too.
i haven’t called the help line yet. I did meet his family member for third party contact and all went well but I was very anxious and its not something I want to constantly do as the family member wasn’t able to tell me if she had been fed etc as she was out drinking with friends.
i then asked if he could meet one of my family members instead for third party contact and he agreed but has caused problems whilst doing this so I feel like the only thing I can now do is request him to get her from me and me only and we do not have to make contact. I live in a communal flat so can stay with my child until he comes and walk away as soon as he is in the building. Definitely need to call the help line for further assistance so will update if I can 🙂
