My son sees the family support worker at the school once a week for some emotional support. He’s not coping with losing his grandad 4yrs ago, then dad walking out 2yrs ago, now nanny is dying. She’s not in much though. Will call next time she’s in to see my boy and ask if there’s anything she can suggest like you said. Thank you.

Have you tried mediation? It provides a safe place for you both to talk and it means that you get the chance to tell him why you want continuity for your child and the impact all this moving around is having on him. You clearly just want the best for your little one, and I can see your trying to be flexible with the demands being made of you, but ultimately its got to be what is best for the child in all this, and their behaviour does tell you when things aren’t right.  Hope you find a way forward!

I would stick with the CMO office, but I think you might need to be on their case a bit. They aren’t great at checking exactly what someone is earning, especially when they self employ.

You can switch to payments being Direct Pay without having to close your case with CMO remember, that way if he stops making payments, it’s simple to request a return to collect and pay without having to start a new claim.
