I was on similar situation, but on other side. My situation is more complicated as I’m single parent and non residential parent on the same time. In past I try to get into relationship, mother of my boys (they live with me) don’t have any issues with my personal life, so this was OK. But mother of my daughter (she don’t live with me) became mad, abusive etc.
I don’t want to blame anyone, but have you think why he doing like this? always blame is on both sides. sometimes doing something we are guilty, in other case when we not doing what we should, we are also guilty. It’s easy always blame to others, but we never look at yourself.

I know I have to pay for her, don’t have problem with this. I only don’t understand how CMS could be so unfair. Everywhere is said that both parents should support child. Why this not working. At last, as minimum child maintenance should be take as income in UC calculation. Sorry but this is what we want to teach kids? Don’t go to work, make 3 kids with 3 different parents, live on CMS? I don’t want this kind of future for my daughter.

If I could do same, I will do. CMS is not fair, both parent should support child, but how RP can do this if not working? As paying parent I can’t ask on what my ex spending money, but she know how much I earn. I’m single dad of two, and according to CMS my two boys are less worth than my daughter.

How you know he has 160k in savings?
CMS it’s not fair for kids, often RP abuse it to gain more money instead go to work (like it’s in my case).
