Best place for money advice is citizens advice or a website called entitledto.co.uk , they can give advice on any benefits or grants you’re entitled to you just have to put in all your info x

Citizens advice are really good

I went to them a few weeks ago when my ex wasn’t making any effort to contact the kids and my 5 year old was regularly crying, drawing pictures of broken hearts etc. They advised me to write an email expressing my child’s need, so that should he ever play the SHE STOPPED CONTACT card, I can prove this as untrue

It’s really sad that this has happened, my brother had the same with the mother of his little one, always stopped contact whenever her money demands weren’t met (my brother paid plenty very regularly)

Good that there aren’t any safeguarding issues, however there could be from her side as this will only negatively effect your little one

To get expert advice you can go to places like Citizens Advice, they’re really good with child family issues.

 

I really hope this gets resolved soon, as someone fighting FOR my ex to be an equal part I can only wonder what on earth is going through her head in stopping contact.

How old is little one? I know if I stopped contact with my kid’s dad my 5 year old would just bang on about him constantly

Yeah people keep telling me times a healer lol

He’s coming over tomorrow (apparently) to help with the kids, they aren’t bad by any sense but are just such hard work

My results day is next Wednesday 🤞

I know I shouldn’t be with him, he’s not only abusive to me but is unreliable with regards to the kids doesn’t call regularly etc

I’m not the best with in person support groups as I’ve lived in my area my whole life so know most of the people in it

I’m only 26 but can completely relate

Was with my partner for 9 years have 2 beautiful girls 5 & 2 , and one morning he left for work with 2 massive bags, when i asked what was going on he’d said he’d packed while I was sleeping

Part of me wants him to come back so bad but now he’s just saying he doesn’t want me anymore

The unanswered questions are the worst. Hopefully it does get better  all my love xx
