Thank you, it actually feels like my load is lessened since he has gone as I was also doing everything, it is just that loneliness when all of the jobs are done and I’m sat doing nothing that I’m struggling with.
It is definitely a thankless task being a single parent, my ex will ask how our baby is everyday but I feel a bit forgotten about!

Thank you, it is really helpful.
My ex wants to very much be apart of our daughters life and whilst he is keeping up his visits now I do wonder how long he is going to do that for.
I am also loosing sleep over the day he says he wants to have her overnight. He has worked nights all of her life and has never been involved in the night feeds as she is breastfed, I’m worrying about whether her needs would be met or whether she would be in hysterics because her consistent comfort (me) isn’t there.
Does your son have a relationship with his dad?
