    Hi everyone,

Over the last few weeks, I have been having, numerous assessments. I’m no closer, to a diagnosis. I feel the same, I’m becoming extremely impatient and want action now. I’m so tired of repeating myself, these past weeks, to professionals. Their favourite line is, “first, we need to start by getting my mental health in a stabilised capacity”. I agree. But they’re not listening to me, when I say, in order for that to even begin or ever happen, you have to and need to help/support me, with my housing. The first step, to my life changing and starting any healing process, as a family. Is someone advocating with me, to demonstrate, to the council, the seriousness of my situation. If they can’t push/force a desperately needed move, on medical grounds, then what is the point. Asking me to do the impossible, while living in an environment, that is a constant reminder. On the plus side, I’m really excited for Xmas, don’t know why? Apparently, I’m most likely going through a “high phase”.

By the way, I’ve been with my council, best part of 18/19 years, temp accommodation, is the only thing they have ever given me. My mum and I, believe, both human/equal rights, have been breeched, over the years.

My council, have basically, left me, at the bottom of the list, for as long as I’ve been on it and I’ve exhausted, all avenues, I can think of.

Okay, my rant is over, sorry guys, needed to get that out… Back to Xmas films, snuggles and hot chocolate, with the kids.

Hope everyone has a great week 😊

    Hi, Nemeton,

    Thank you, for your words.

Myself and children, have lived in the same area(borough), all our lives, up until, nearly 3 years ago. Their school, was a 2 min walk, from our flat. That area, was very multi cultural, which I really liked, now I have nothing against, religion, race, etc, but the area we were put in, is literally, non multi cultured. I want my children’s schooling, and general surroundings, to have all walks of life, included. That was all taken away. I did continue, to have my children, in school, in our area, but all the travelling and financial costs, was too much. Also, the schools in the area now, are quite poor in my opinion and definitely not cultured, hence, home schooling now. Also, the area has nothing to offer us, so no matter what, we have to travel. I have used the local library and it is actually decent. I have also enquired about groups on here, as I couldn’t find any.
