Thanks for your replies, it’s really helpful to hear your views. I don’t remember the upkeep being that high when we were together either so I’m not really buying her argument that the CMS payments don’t come close to covering their costs. Obviously I’d do anything for the children and they won’t go without but I’m not a big fan of the system either. Hopefully things will mellow with the ex over time. Best wishes to you both! Pete
