Hi,  I’ve been separated for 5 weeks.  I have 2 children, an 11 year old and a 14 year old.  My husband of 22 years has left me and the children.  Finding things tough, crying and feeling very down, then feeling ok the next.  Its the rollercoaster of emotions and tiredness that’s so difficult to deal with. Sorry to hear that, it sounds very tough for you both.  Sending hugs.

I’m in the same boat.  I am mum to 2.  My husband of 22 years has moved out and I’m on my own in the family home.  My parents and rest of my family are 250 miles away. I am 5 weeks into separation and we are still meeting up and doing stuff at weekends with the children.  I have just had a mental health assessment and I am classed as severely depressed and anxious.  I’m finding everything so very hard and I’m so very tired.  Spend a lot of time crying at the moment and feel very lonely.
