Hi – I don’t have any words of wisdom but I really wanted to reach out to you. This sounds absolutely horrendous for you, and I can totally see why it’s hard.
Is it even logistically practical for him to have 50:50 access if he lives far away? Is he doing this to upset you rather than actually being able to honour a 50:50 commitment to his little girl? My response to him honestly would be to do what he likes in terms of filing for 50:50 access. It will cost him financially, and given the historic status quo and already reasonable access he has, it’s unlikely that your daughter’s life would be so drastically changed just because he, on a whim, has suggested it should be.
