Hi yes I have researched Cv writing and made sure it fits with what employers look for and how to get it highly scoring on software that is used in candidate selection. Trouble is you get pigeon holed a lot especially as an older female. I have spent so much of my life raising a family and part time working, so settled for lower graded roles, so now it is a struggle getting passed that barrier even though I’ve been FT for 4 years. And I’ve always worked, this job I have is like nothing I’ve ever experienced, I started working in the 80’s even then the environment was better than where I am now.

Not quite no it’s been a rough ride 1st time I’ve had Covid thanks for checking in, having to talk to a senior manager next week, dreading it. I’ve somehow managed to apply to some agencies as well despite feeling so sick.

Things have taken a turn for the worse on Friday, I was outright given a tirade of verbal in front of others,  I can’t stand it! Looking hard for something else, I feel so down 😞

Thank you, I’ve never felt so lost and defeated 😞 thought I was doing the right thing leaving a long term job last year. I know everyone is struggling but I can’t see no light where I am now

I know in an ideal world I need to make sure I have another job to go to and I am actively looking. They are micromanaging me to the point I can’t breathe. I have tried talking it through but just feel I am not a good fit there hence their treatment. The culture is not good at this place. My question is does anyone know how long you have to wait for UC if you leave a job voluntarily rather than being fired/made redundant.
