Im sorry you are where you are right now. Im new here too and unfortunately have no answers. Maybe chat with the advice line on here, Im guessing they will be a good source of practical advice re the mortgage. I have also found Citizens advice of some use. I think we have to acknowledge that whilst everything is a mess we just have to put one foot in front of the other and get through the day. We are going to do things wrong, get angry, and every other emotion. We are not super human. You have your childrens best interests at heart and are doing your best by them. I hope this doesnt sound patronising, certainly not meant that way as i feel as lost as you just trying to navigate through this mess. Look after yourself.

Trying not to react is so hard. In my case i know im being goaded so it does give me a bit of control if i dont but it doesnt always work. I guess the advice to keep it buisness like tries to remove the emotional element so does make a lot of sense.

Thank you all. I will try the helpline.

Sadly no parents around anymore for either of us.

Thank you for your reply. I think your probably correct. Iam  aware of the long wait for council  housing. Ex seems to think he can just walk into one because of his age. I think its more likely we will have to sell. I was really hoping to avoid that mostly for my daughter who is in her last year of GCSEs but the situation at home is becoming impossible. Thank you again.
