Thea Jaffe:

Thea Jaffe, known to some as the Dirty Momtini and to others simply as “Mom”, is a single mother of three and long-time Gingerbread volunteer.  Since founding Single Parents Comedy in 2020, she has hosted Stand Up for Single Parents for Gingerbread and performed at both the Brighton and Edinburgh Fringes as part of Insanitised (2021–2022). She’s also hosted virtual shows for a wide range of audiences including the iconic Chicken Box Comedy (International Women’s Day 2021).  After a three-year hiatus spent changing nappies, burning dino nuggets and forgetting it was world book day, the Dirty Momtini is back and ready to giggle about it all with you this Single Parents Day.

Saleha Masud:

Saleha Masud serves up fearless, sharply observed stand-up from a proudly Muslim perspective, blending cultural insight with punchlines that land hard and fast  all with the added lens of single parenthood. A West End New Act of the Year 2023 finalist, she’s now a regular Roast Battler and judge at the late night Roast Battle show at Angel’s Bill Murray Comedy Club, where her professional level shit talking is not only a crowd favourite but also, as she puts it, very effective for keeping her coparent in check. By day she’s a litigation lawyer; by night she brings bold takes, bright energy and the kind of set that leaves jaws dropped and audiences grinning.

Kelly Adams:

Kelly Adams brings sparkling humour and effortlessly engaging storytelling to the stage, drawing on her life as a single parent and her years as a celebrated actress. Known for standout roles in Holby City, Hustle, Bluestone 42, Mr Selfridge, and London Kills, she channels that same screen ready timing into a lively, fun set full of sharp observations around single-parenting and self-aware wit.  Expect warmth, laughs and a performance that feels both polished and wonderfully down to earth – the perfect addition to a night celebrating single parent resilience and comedy.

Mike Coxon:

Mike Coxon turns dating, parenting challenges and the difficulties being a northerner exiled in the south, into warm, relatable comedy with a laid back, likeable style. A co-parent originally from Northwich but based in Sussex, he’s the mate you want at the pub, self-deprecatinghonest and very, very funny, reminding us that sometimes the best way through is to laugh together. Perfectly pitched for a night celebrating single parent grit and giggles.
