Gingerbread, the leading charity supporting single parents across England and Wales, has announced that Lisa Pearce will be stepping down as Interim Chief Executive on 1 October to take up the role of CEO at Pilotlight, following the completion of her transformation contract at Gingerbread.
During her time at Gingerbread, Lisa has led a comprehensive transformation programme, including the re-focusing of the charity’s strategy, securing multiple new multi-year funding partnerships to deliver its plans, and building strong operational foundations through new digital systems and modern ways of working. Lisa Pearce, Interim CEO, said:
“It has been a privilege to lead Gingerbread through this important period of transformation, strengthening the organisation so it can continue to deliver for single parents across the country. I am confident that the strong foundations we have built will enable Gingerbread to thrive in its next chapter, and I remain deeply committed to its mission.”
Sarah Pinch, Chair of Gingerbread, said:
“On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Lisa for the outstanding leadership she has shown during her time with us. She has delivered a comprehensive transformation programme with clarity, pace and compassion, ensuring Gingerbread is well-positioned for the future.
