At Gingerbread, we are passionate about creating positive change in our communities and beyond. We believe in the power of collective action to address the issues faced by single-parent families.

Who we are

We are a group of single parents across England and Wales, united by our shared commitment to making a real difference for single parents and their children. We come from different walks of life, bringing unique perspectives, skills, and experiences.

What we do

Gingerbread’s Campaigns Advisory Group organises and advocates for meaningful change as part of our wider policy and campaigning work. Whether it’s raising awareness about important issues or lobbying policymakers, we are dedicated to making the voices of single parents heard. 

Our values

We’re driven by a guiding principle of  “all are welcome, just as you are”.  We strive to create a welcoming, safe and supportive environment where all voices are valued and respected.
