We are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to join our Operations team at Gingerbread – the leading charity providing expert advice, practical support and campaigning for single parents.
You will play a key role at a crucial time as we implement new systems which will strengthen our management information capability. The Data Analyst will be responsible for management, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data and information to frontline delivery staff, managers, funders, partners and external parties in order to optimise the quality of delivery, maximise the achievement of outcomes by single parents and ensure each project achieves the greatest possible social impact.
You will have previous experience of using databases to input and extract data and information and create clear, usable and compelling written and oral reports. Recent experience of working with CRM systems and a good knowledge of data manipulation, cleansing and analysis and excellent analytical and numeracy skills are essential.

Gingerbread is the national charity for single parent families. Our vision is a society where single parent families are valued and treated equally and fairly. We provide practical information, advice and training, an influential campaigning voice and opportunities for single parents to connect with each other.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire our team in Wales to deliver high quality services for single parents. The Head of Wales will manage delivery of multiple complex projects, building relationships with local funders and partners to maximise impact for single parents, secure new business and drive real service improvement. S/he will represent us to regulators and statutory authorities in Wales. The post-holder is a member of Gingerbread’s corporate Management Team, reporting to the Director of National Operations.
You will be an experienced, highly motivated leader, with a successful track record of managing the successful delivery of high quality programmes and multiple complex contracts. You will be experienced in people and change management, able to quality assure performance, innovating and improving while keeping single parents experience at the heart of what we do. You will combine an entrepreneurial approach with excellent planning skills. Top-level relationship building, communication and negotiating skills are also essential for this role, as well as a willingness to travel.

Gingerbread provides expert advice, practical support and campaigns to improve the lives of single parent families. Gingerbread has a membership of over 50,000 single parents who regularly read our monthly enewsletter, connect with each other on our online forum or attend or run a local Gingerbread group.
The Membership Assistant will provide all round administrative support including implementing processes and updating data, dealing with member records, groups licensing and administration, communication with single parents, online forum moderation, updating monitoring information and producing regular reports.
You will have previous administration experience, including working knowledge of online forums and/or chat rooms and excellent customer service skills. You’ll have a good understanding of the issues facing single parents, and the ability to communicate well with single parents, colleagues, funders and partners.
