Senior leadership team
Rosie joined as our Chief Executive in February 2017. She is passionate about working with and for single parents to ensure Gingerbread is doing the best job it can to support and champion the two million diverse single parent families across England and Wales. Rosie started out in the youth sector, supporting young people to develop leadership roles in their communities and went on to be Chief Executive of London Youth from 2012 to 2016, where she grew the organisation significantly in terms of both income and impact. Immediately before starting with us, Rosie spent a year travelling across north America, at improv school in Chicago and then as Interim Director at Youth Business International. Rosie was a Commissioner on the London Fairness Commission and is a Trustee of Centre for London. She has a MSc in Voluntary Sector Management from Cass Business School and a PGDiP in Charity Finance.
As the Director of Policy, Advice and Communications, Dalia leads on our policy work as well as overseeing our communications, campaigns and advice services. Prior to joining Gingerbread, Dalia was as Associate Director at IPPR, taught social policy at the University of Oxford and held research posts at the LSE. Dalia holds a PhD in social policy from the University of Oxford. Dalia has a sound policy and research background, and a strong grasp of the issues facing single parents today. She also has extensive broadcast and media experience.
