I work in the fundraising team, applying to small and medium sized trusts for funding.

There are lots of reasons I like working for Gingerbread. I am motivated by the cause, can clearly see the impact of our services and admire the bravery of our campaigns. All the staff are friendly and I feel included. My manager is enthusiastic, supportive and flexible.

Obviously Gingerbread understands what it is like to be a working mum! This means it is accepted that sometimes you need to flex around your children without being judged or having stilly obstacles put in the way. Staff are trusted to get on with their work without micromanagement.

I want to stay at Gingerbread as I am really happy!

The thing that for me really defines the culture at Gingerbread is the passion that everyone feels about helping to support single parents. That strength of commitment is incredibly cohesive, and makes for a strong team and an amazing work environment.

Doug Ridley

For me the best bit about working for Gingerbread is being able to finish a work day and know that my work helped people that really needed the support.
