This is an opportunity for single parents who live within the Lancashire area who have been out of work for some time to gain experience with one of the UK’s top employers.

The course begins with three days of training with our friendly Gingerbread staff, followed by two weeks of work experience with an employer such as Marks & Spencer and Royal Mail.

Who can take part?

Single parents living in the Lancashire who are not currently working and are in receipt of jobseeker’s allowance, income support, employment and support allowance, or universal credit.
