I am currently pregnant and the council is looking to put me in a private rented accommodation. Which they say they would pay my rent and deposit. I am unemployed at the moment, so I know they would cover the rent for at least a year until I start working. However, I have applied to do my masters next year and it’s a 2year full time course . I am worried that the council might not help me after the first year and as soon as I start my masters they might not help me again.

does anyone know how this works ?? Please I need advice

I’m starting my masters this year  and i’m doing it part time over 2 years as an online course as i’m working.  The postgraduate loan you apply for to cover fees etc will affect your universal credit if you look on the hmrc website there is a section that explains it all or you can live chat with the hmrc and ask them, i found them really helpful when i asked about the impact it would have on my tax credits.
