Omg. Im sick and tired of doing the right thing and getting slated for it

My son usually stays at my Mums Wednesday night till friday. We all have a day together and then i usually leave abiut 7pm. My son little fed up, he has a sore nappy rash so understandably he is not himself and in pain. So i said I’ll ring docs tomorrow morn and get him some anti fungal cream like did few months ago so i said i best take him home as if he has a bad night and if i get an appt its better he at home and saves my Mum having a bad night with him

She said she could still have him while im at work tomorrow afternoon but i said ill ring in and stay off till he feels bit better. She told me to f off as was leaving and im just like “wow” what actually did i do wrong. He’s my child and i cant really just leave him while he’s not too happy and screaming a lot. Why have i been blasted for it. She helps me so much and i appreciate it but if he’s not hinself i best bring him home. Thought thats best for everyone but she has took it well the wrong way and im the bad one

Dont know what im gonna do now. If we have fallen out i have noone to look after him and so i cant work. Any advice welcome as i just feel likewhy do i bother

Maybe she was having a bad day and just took it out on you. Have a sit down with a cuppa and talk it through ๐Ÿ˜€

Hi yeah I’ve had little breakdown today. Took little one docs he’s fine but i js feel im a little on edge and tetchy. Explained to my mum why i took him home no offence on her and said sorry if ive caused her offence

I was feeling like taking more time off work but that will just make me feel worse and more tetchy and me, my son, mum and people around me dont need silly issues

My son is at a phase j find challenge he gets in a cob and starts banging his head on wall, floor, door, cot and i dont know how to get him to stop so i get stressed dont want him hurting himself but dont know how to approach it

    Hope you are well

That’s a start you spoke to your mum. I’m sure it will be forgotten in a few days.

I’m not sure what to do when kids bang their heads against solid objects. Maybe ask your health advisor if you still have one? ๐Ÿ˜€
