    Hi everyone,

After almost one year, I have decided to leave my partner. Can anyone explain me where to start and what to do? We are renting house and he is paying all bills, as I am at home with 2 kids, I dont have any regular income, I do work but thats not enough to pay even rent.

Hi. Me and my partner separated early this year and it was scary after not being on my own for 9 years but it can be done. You firstly can get advice on help you can get for your local council or online and apply and then speak to local council to about help with finding a house and any friends and family that can help you? I still work part time around my young kids and get a bit of help too and it was so scary at first but after a month or 2 of getting straight it works out in the end. Hope it helps to know that it will seem so scary at first but don’t be defeated it doesn’t last long x

If you dont earn much from work you can apply for child tax and working tax credits. They have an online benefits calculator you could use to put in your details and see what you could be entitled too. I know it is scary but do some research and you can do this. X
