Hi, I’m new here & just joined because I’m feeling a bit deprived of adult company!
I’ve been divorced for 3yrs & have a good group of friends but recently a lot of them have become couples so have less time. I share my kids 50/50 with their dad so find I have time to spare…but don’t like feeling lonely. I’ve tried online dating but it’s exhausting & I would really just like to meet some people in real life now lockdowns lifting. So I suppose my question is where do the single dads hang out when not with their kids?? I’ve done evening classes before but only met lovely ladies 😂 I fear I might need to start some kind of sport….😬 Any suggestions welcome!!

Hi there, I’m 45 and a single mum of a 3 year old.

I find that I’m on my own with my daughter at weekends as friends are mostly couples and do their own thing .

I would love to meet a group of people in my situation .. men and women with children where we can strike up friendships and make new friends both for myself and my daughter …even if it is once a month hanging out at a park …theme park or sea side…. I’m tired of feeling alone .

And at the moment I really need friends like minded .
