Hi, my son and I were separated for almost 18 months. We were reunited last week in Australia and now we are back in Eng and living in Wimbledon. I am very keen to hear from parents with kids of the same age. I want to help my sn intergrate with friend his own age as soon as possible. Any thoughts: help, would be appreciated.

School might be a useful place to start.

Thanks for that – Not starting school until new term for reasons that I won’t share –

What about enrolling him into a uniformed organisation e.g. Scouts?

How old is your son? I would maybe concentrate on bonding with your son and doing some fun things with him and he’ll meet other people organically tha t way.

Sorry just saw he’s 10 🙈. I would.still try and do stuff with him and see if he meets anyone that way. Also worth going to local parks etc as he’ll meet folk there..and if he has electronics a lot of his friendships at that age are with people.on Roblox Minecraft etc anyway. Do any of your neighbours have kids the same.sort of age?
